| Keep handy a bottle of multi-use detergent, Black Streak Remover, which is very effective for removing black streaks encrusted in the gelcoat and for a multitude of other purposes such as removal of smoke marks at the exhaust outlet, gentle cleaning of fenders and for a thousand other things. Simply spray on the product, let it work for 2 min, rub gently with a soft brush and rinse well. There is no need to use a great deal of product at once! You can also keep on board a bottle of Boat Wash for general cleaning e.g. after a trip out, just to de-salt and clean up the boat. 2-3 caps of Boat Wash in a bucket of fresh or sea water will do the job. If you have problems with mouldy patches, the Mildew Stain Remover is very effective and is able to kill the germs which avoids them reappearing a few days later! For upholstery, Vinyl Shampoo is very effective. If the cushions are very dirty and need renovation, Vinyl Cleaner & Polish will be perfect. |
